 Since
1995, Julie Manchester has been making healing salves and
oils, fragrant herbal therapy pillows, delicious teas, paraben
free, spa quality moisturizing creams and lotions, children's
dream products, amazing lip balm and more. She gathers herbs
from her garden, and from the forests and fields around
her Vermont home.
Julie also purchases herbs and beeswax from small businesses
and cooperatives. Julie's oils are cold pressed from the
source, her shea butter is from a women's cooperative in
Ghana.
 As
an herbalist of seventeen years, and a lifelong gardener,
Julie understands the delicate balance
between humans and nature and loves
to extend this knowledge to others
through teaching classes and workshops throughout New England.

 Shea
butter is one of the hottest skin and hair treatments
around, and is a true gift for those with any type
of skin problem.
Shea butter comes from inside the nut of a shea
tree butyrspermum parkii) which is native to certain
parts of Africa.
It is moisturizing, healing, and has natural sun
protection, and can be used but just about anyone.
Julie purchases her shea butter from an African
owned women's cooperative, where a portion of the
proceeds of the sale are returned to the tribe.
Julie's unrefined shea butter is available in two

locally famous, all natural insect deterrent!
Created because Julie was becoming increasingly
nervous about the state of her husband's "toxic
closet" where he had cervical different
types of bug repellents, none of which worked very
well. Formally called "Bugg Off" this
blend of culinary essential oils has been proven
very effective in deterring black flies, mospituoes,
gnats, no-see-ums, and other denizens of field and
forest. In response to customer request, Julie has
taken her base formula and incorporated it into
several different mediums. It has been field tested
all over the US, and Julie has customers satisfied
customers all over the world.
*One cautionary note, however, due to the high content
of essential oils, please do not use if you are
pregnant or nursing. Julie also does not advise
using it on babies less than six month old.
